Journey of Hope Program
TRAINING
The Journey of Hope reaches thousands of people each year with messages of hope, compassion, and prevention. In addition, Camp Heartland offers current and former campers the opportunity to receive training and support in developing their own speaking and advocacy skills through the Journey of Hope Ambassador Training Program.
Ambassador Training sessions occur over the course of an extended weekend and blend traditional camp recreation programming with curriculum in speechwriting, speaking and listening skills, drama and body movement, social skills, and more.
