Announcing the "Sponsor-A-Mile" Campaign...
The Journey of Hope AIDS Awareness Tour presented by GE Healthcare is a remarkable event where our young speakers will travel nearly 3,400 miles teaching others across the nation about HIV/AIDS prevention, care and compassion. Now everyone can be a part of the journey by participating in the "Sponsor-A-Mile" campaign. Running through April, the "Sponsor-A-Mile" campaign allows participants to make a direct impact in the fight against AIDS. Funds collected will underwrite portions of the Journey of Hope Tour and will support the ongoing Journey of Hope AIDS Awareness Program. Miles are $25 each and can be purchased by individuals, groups or businesses. Only 3,371 miles will be sold. Special incentives for mile holders include:
- Purchase 1 or more miles and receive a special certificate and recognition on the Journey of Hope Tour Web site.
- Purchase 10 or more miles and receive an official Journey of Hope AIDS Awareness Tour T-shirt.
- Purchase 30 or more miles and receive a copy of A Journey of Hope: Inspiring Stories of Courage and Unconditional Love, an exclusive book by Neil Willenson featuring the speeches, poems, writings and stories of Camp Heartland children.
The "Sponsor-A-Mile" campaign is also an excellent way to honor a loved one by purchasing honorary or memorial miles in someone's name.
