Campaign to End AIDS
Camp Heartland is proud to announce its sponsorship of Robert, our youth delegate to Washington, D.C. for the groundbreaking Campaign to End AIDS (C2EA). Robert will join thousands of youth across the United States in late September as they create a caravan of compassion and advocacy, culminating in a rally at the nation's capitol from October 8-12. Camp Heartland proudly endorses the C2EA initiative and stands with the amazing young advocates and activists that are serving as an important voice for people living with HIV and AIDS globally.
Robert is a trained Journey of Hope Ambassador and has recently strengthened his resolve as a young advocate through his involvement in Camp Heartland's summer programs and work with C2EA. Stay tuned for Robert's thoughts and experiences during his caravan adventure through his online journal featured here! If you would like to also contribute to Robert's sponsorship, you can find more information on C2EA's Web site or contact Lena.
For more information about C2EA and their mission and vision, please visit www.campaigntoendaids.org. There are opportunities to join caravans and get involved in local community observances, rallies, and programs in support of the campaign and the caravan participants as they pass through your state. Thank you to all the young people involved with this important effort!
