Dining Out For Life
DINE OUT TO HELP CAMP HEARTLAND KIDS
A Fun & Easy Way to Make a Difference!
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner...
three meals a day we have you covered.
On June 9, 2005, Camp Heartland presented the 9th annual Dining Out for Life event featuring more than 120 restaurants, bars and clubs throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. On this one day, participating establishments donated 25% of their revenues to Camp Heartland.
It couldn't be easier to make a difference!
Thousands of diners enjoyed breakfast, lunch and/or dinner while making a difference to children and their families affected by HIV/AIDS. Check back for information about the 2006 Dining Out for Life event.
**Want to be more involved with Dining Out? Volunteer!**
Dining Out for Life requires hundreds of volunteers to serve as ambassadors in the restaurants during lunch and dinner on Dining Out day. They are there to greet the diners, thank them for choosing a Dining Out for Life restaurant, and invite them to join in a raffle by filling out the diner envelopes. There is a brief training session for all ambassadors so they are comfortable in their roles as Camp Heartland representatives. Shifts range from 2-4 hours. Ambassadors can request a lunch or dinner shift and can often volunteer at the restaurant of their choice.
