Members of our Everyday Hero program are a special group of generous and dedicated supporters who are committed to providing a year-round, lifelong community of support to children and young adults forever affected by the tragedy of AIDS. They provide

with the financial resources necessary to ensure that all our programs are provided free of charge to children in need.
As an Everyday Hero, you’ll be making a profound difference in the lives of countless young people. You are providing a much needed community of support filled with unconditional love and acceptance - a place where young people can speak openly, often for the very first time, to others about the daily struggles of living with HIV/AIDS.
Many of the young people we serve have to endure illness, rigorous medication schedules, painful medical procedures and, often, the burden of keeping their disease a secret from friends and neighbors.
Camp
Heartland
provides hope, fun, friendship and, oftentimes, a reason to live for these courageous children. Many of our donors choose to give $20 a month – about $.66 a day. Some give more, others give less. Whatever amount you choose, your dollars will make a profound difference in the life of a child.
When you become an Everyday Hero, you can expect to receive:
